Transmasters Magazine. Issue #7, SUMMER 2010

Introduction

Welcome to the latest issue of the Transmasters Magazine. Well, we’ve made it to another issue so that’s always a good sign.

The filming of Transformers 3 is well under way for a summer 2011 release (will it be another Michael Bay crapfest? Is the sky blue?) The Transformers: Prime series is supposed to debut on the new Hasbro HUB channel in October (hopefully places that don’t carry it right now will get the show too). I don’t know if it will be as good as Animated was but I’ll keep an open mind for now (ironic of me to say after my dumping on TF3, but...) Some preliminary Prime character art was debuted at the SDCC but it’s hard to really judge the concept with so little information as of yet.

And, of course, the 2010 TF line is well under way for its release in stores with the first of the Power Core Combiners already out on the shelves in North America (as well as the first wave of Generations toys). Based off what we’ve seen, 2011 is going to be even bigger and better yet for the line with new Jazz, Tracks, Grapple and other toys on the way!

I hope you enjoy this latest issue. Comments are always welcome be they praise, criticism or just general questions. The next issue is planned for November 10, 2010 and contributions are always welcome!
