For some reason I never saw Legends Megatron or Starscream where I live (I just happened upon both while visiting California for BotCon). I wasn't too concerned about owning them previously though as neither are my ideal form of either character. Both, ideally, deserve Voyager class toys with features galore. Anyway, Legends Megatron is a decent toy for the dollar. His robot mode is modeled after the Megatron Origin version (from the early IDW comic series). I like his gun arm and his general dexterity as a toy. Mine looks a bit wobbly in tank form... I do think Ransack--as with all these figures--is a bit of a waste of plastic. In theory, I appreciate the nod to the obscure Deluxe Insecticon toy of old but would appreciate some new decent sized Deluxe Insecticon toys instead of this thing, which feels like an afterthought at best.

Verdict:  Good. Worth it if you love Megatron or Legends toys.

I like that they modeled this toy after the early IDW Starscream form (the F22 fighter jet). I would love to see that toy in a bigger form (Deluxe or Voyager. iGear Toys does have some third party versions of it). As a Legends release, he's decent enough. Easy to transform (it took me a few minutes to figure out what to do with the arms) and he looks good in both modes. Starscream's arm guns are even detachable (unlike Megatron's, which is intended to stay attached). Worth picking up overall (just don't expect much from Waspinator).

Verdict:  Good.

Probably one of my favorites from the recent Legends toys. I had G1 Tailgate and never expected he'd get an update in the here and now (I guess they're running out of stuff to update?) The character is also prominent in the MTMTE comic from IDW. Honestly, I'm surprised they did a new mold for this guy instead of just using the RTS Windcharger as the base (at least, I think it's a new mold). Anyway, he has reasonable poseability for his size and is easy enough to transform. Worth it for fans of the G1 Minibots.

Verdict:  Good.

Shrapnel--sorry, Skrapnel--is a Legends version of the G1 Insecticon Shrapnel. He's pretty faithful to the original's look too. Easy to transform and poseable. It would be cool if his fellow Insecticons got Legends updates too (but who knows if that will ever happen). Definitely worth picking up for G1 fans!

Verdict: Good.
