Slog is roughly equivalent to Sludge, a favorite of mine from the G1 Dinobots. He's pretty cool looking in robot mode and even comes with two lance styled weapons (they can fit in his hands or on his back). I had to work a little to figure out his dinosaur mode (but he wasn't too bad). His dinosaur mode is a bit less then stellar--he has a couple of rubbery plastic parts on him, including his beast "chest" area. It didn't seem like it fit quite right for me (it should've been made to lock into place but it just hangs loose instead). The same is true of the patch on his back (although it's less noticeable by comparison). Still, overall, I like this toy and would recommend it for Dinobot lovers.

Verdict:  Good.

Roadbuster is another in a long line of cool G1 updates. Until now we haven't really had a true update to the G1 toy, just several recolors in that vein. This toy is a completely new release meant to represent the character and it's better then the original toy even. The toy comes with a variety of weapons and is quite poseable in general. I also noticed his plastic is quite brilliantly colored (always a plus in the wake of the drab Bayverse stuff). The toy is also pretty straight forward from a transformational aspect. I had no trouble at all converting him to vehicle mode (compare that to the needlessly complicated exercise that was Warbot Revolver).

Verdict:  Excellent. Go out and get it!

I never owned an original Jetfire (although years later I had a cheap knock-off) but this is very impressive update to the original toy. There was also the 2007 Voyager toy but this one is bigger and better. He towers over his peers like Jetfire should. The toy is reasonably poseable and comes with an assortment of guns for accessories (as well as a detachable engine/gun segment). The toy also has chrome on select parts which had caused controversy among the fandom. I don't really have a problem with the chrome myself. I had a little trouble getting him into jet mode but managed finally (some of the other recent toys were worse). Like his 2007 Classics counterpart his mask can be removed to reveal a cartoon styled face so fans can have whichever face they prefer. Definitely worth picking up if you haven't already.

Verdict:  Excellent. A worthy update of the iconic G1 character.
