Transmasters Magazine. Issue
#10, SPRING 2011
Introduction
Spring has sprung! On toy shelves all across North America
Dark of the Moon toys have
been appearing to the delight of children and kids at heart. At
the beginning of next month (June) the annual TF fan get-together known as BotCon will be held in Pasadena,
California (I can't make it this time around, but I'm sure those who
can will have a blast). Finally, on June 29th, Transformers: Dark of the Moon will
be appearing in theaters to the delight (horror?) of fans everywhere!
Also, this summer sees the debut of Chaos, a multi-part storyline that
promises to shake up the status quo of the IDW Universe as we know it
(and our wallets status quo too since it's bi-weekly).
This issue sees reviews of Dorvack as well as Machine Robo. Two Japanese anime
from the 80s that showcased transformable robots and relate
peripherally to the Transformers
we all know and love. We also welcome artwork from Rosemary "Screamers"
Ward, a comic from Johan"Backbreaker" Piest, art from Sharon "Tut"
LaBorde as well as the return
of Trans-Blunders by Peter
"Pierrimus" Phelps.
This issue also marks the first year anniversary of the Magazine
since it was resurrected last spring. It's amazing how times flies!
I hope you enjoy this latest issue. Comments are
always welcome, be they praise, criticism or just general questions.
Contributions are also welcome!
